The bench uses the same timber and proportions as the veranda, so it grows naturally from the structure instead of looking added later. Guests gain a comfortable place to pause without another loose piece of furniture in the way.

More room where people actually move

Placing the seat along the edge leaves the centre open for meals, games, luggage and everyday comings and goings. Its height and position can be settled with the railing, while the veranda is still on the drawing board.
