Caring for stainless steel near the coast

Sea air leaves more than a salty scent

Stainless steel is tough, not untouchable. Moisture, airborne salt and pollution settle quietly on the surface; left there, they can dull the finish and eventually leave visible marks of oxidation.

A little care goes a long way

Clean the surface with a product made for stainless steel before deposits have time to build up. Near the coast or in polluted areas, do it more often; in a sheltered inland location, the railing will usually ask for less attention.
